One popular fusion is Indian with Western – when vibrant and versatile India meets the elegant and classic west – the fusion is exotic and dynamic. From choosing exotic destinations to planning extravagant events – couples leave no stone unturned to make their big day memorable. One destination that is ticked in every couple’s list for their fusion wedding is Thailand. Hence we decided to write this post to help couples understand – Indian and western wedding cost in Thailand.
Wedding Group & Duration
Fusion weddings follow a selected guest list of 80-100 people with duration of stay and events extending to 3 Nights 4 days.

Travel and Ground Transport
Thailand is well connected with different parts of the world by Air. Most flights from USA, UK, Australia, India land at the Bangkok International airport. Travel to destination is mostly paid by guests themselves. Cabs and taxis are easily available on hire at the airport to drop to wedding destination – Hua Hin (3hr drive), Pattaya (2hr drive) etc
Destination and Hotel
Popular destinations for fusion weddings are Hua Hin and Pattaya in Thailand. 5*/3* hotels offer exquisite facilities including sea view rooms, beach area as venue for function and variety of food and beverage to choose from.
Hotel services cost
Rooms
4*/5* hotel room cost starts from 4500 THB per night on double occupancy including breakfast.
(Tip: Few hotels also offer room upgrades at no additional cost)
Food & Soft Beverage
4*/5* Hotel Lunch/Dinner starts from 1200 THB Per person
Soft Beverage: Starts at 400 THB Per person for 2 hours
Liquor
You can get your own liquor at a corkage price of 500 THB /bottle of wine and spirits. Hotels can also waive off the corkage charge in case you buy beer and soft beverages from them.
Beach venue rental
Hotels charge 25000 THB onwards per hour to hire their beach venue for functions. They can however cover this price, if you buy food and beverage from them.
EVENT SERVICES
Indiana & Western wedding cost in Thailand
Decorations for pre wedding or wedding function (Haldi/Mehndi/Sangeet/wedding) – including florals, structures, drapes, props shall cost: 150000 THB onwards per function.
Decorations for western ceremony, reception -including florals, structures, drapes, props shall cost: 100000 THB onwards per function.
Light and Sound – 50000 THB onwards per function
DJ with console – 15000 – 20000 THB onwards for 2-3hrs per function
MUA for bride – 20000 THB onwards per function
Photography & Videography – 100000 THB onwards per day
Other services like the Baraat, dhol players, priest for indian wedding, marriage officiant for western wedding, special effects like cold fire, fire works, fire shows etc are also available on as per actual price.
Wedding Planner
This service is an asset for your wedding. Hire a wedding planner who would sort everything for you on time and within your budget while you relax and enjoy your wedding.
Finally, Cost of an Indian destination wedding in Thailand shall start from 30L THB for 2nights including accommodation meals for 100 guests and all event services, whereas for Western destination wedding it will start from 20L THB.
